My Story
My name is Sharon Capek, and I am the owner and Principal of SDC Designs, an interior architecture studio located in Greenville, SC.
I began drawing at the age of four. My parents recognized my emerging talent and encouraged me by enrolling me in an art institute when I was eight years old. I studied painting and further developed my artistic skills.
During my undergraduate studies, I majored in graphic design and minored in both photography and painting. My passion for interior design led me to pursue a Master of Science in Interior Design at Pratt Institute in New York, where I also continued to minor in painting.
Throughout my career, I have participated in group exhibitions in various locations, including the Midwest, Greenville, SC, and the Caribbean.
I am an active member of the Metropolitan Arts Council (M.A.C.) in Greenville, SC, and have taken part in their group exhibition, "Flat Out Under Pressure," in both 2023 and 2024.

Several years ago, I felt the need to write a book about my relationship with Jesus Christ. It was important because of my experiences, questions, and frustrations. I longed to know Him and to know His thoughts about me.
This book unveils my journey and the beautiful heart of our compassionate Heavenly Father. The stories are accurate, but a little crazy; however, I encourage us to surrender our thoughts and opinions and engage Him in a conversation. He is waiting to reveal to you how beautiful you are and to give you the answers you have been longing for. May we receive His restorative power and joy to live on purpose as we share our Heavenly Father's love.

"Flat-out under pressure" competition is hosted annually by the Metropolitan Arts Council in Greenville, South Carolina. Artists produce their best work in 24 hours. 150 artists participated in 2024, and the work was fantastic! We get to collaborate, learn from each other, and have a blast!

HANDS ACROSS EAU CLAIRE
It is the brainchild and inspiration of Amelia Daniels, a resident and a Projects Communicator at the Children's Museum. Hands Across Eau Claire is an initiative done by local artists and businesses throughout the Chippewa Valley in Wisconsin.
Its primary objective is to create awareness of its artisans and raise funds for the Children's Museum.
